The Parkdalien Night Market was an incredible celebration of the Parkdale community, and our family at Garleek Kitchen was honoured to be part of it.

Throughout the evening, hundreds of visitors stopped by to discover authentic Tibetan cuisine, many tasting handmade Tibetan momos for the very first time. We also served our signature tsampa pancakes, a traditional Tibetan staple made from roasted barley flour that reflects generations of Himalayan culinary heritage.

One of the highlights of the night was introducing guests to Chef Karma’s handcrafted hot sauces. Our Momo Sepen Hot Sauce and Kha Tsa Po Sepen gave visitors a chance to experience the bold flavours that accompany many traditional Tibetan meals. We loved hearing everyone’s reactions as they discovered how these sauces elevate everything from momos to tsampa pancakes.

Events like the Parkdalien Night Market allow us to share more than food—they allow us to share our culture. As a family-owned restaurant in Parkdale, Toronto, our mission is to preserve Tibetan traditions while welcoming everyone to experience authentic Himalayan cooking.

Beyond our restaurant menu, Garleek Kitchen also produces traditional Tibetan pantry items, including tsampa, fermented muli (daikon radish), Momo Sepen Hot Sauce, and Kha Tsa Po Sepen, making it easy to bring authentic Tibetan flavours home.

If you couldn’t make it to the market, we’d love to welcome you to our restaurant. Whether you’re looking for authentic Tibetan momos in Toronto, homemade tsampa pancakes, warming bowls of thukpa, or handcrafted Tibetan hot sauces, our family is passionate about sharing the food and stories of Tibet with every guest who walks through our doors.

Thank you to everyone who visited us during the Parkdalien Night Market and to the organizers for supporting local businesses and celebrating the diversity that makes Parkdale so special.
