We carry several different varieties of authentic yak cheeses, a staple of the traditional Tibetan diet. Imported directly from Tibet! Each region of Tibet produces its own versions, resulting in a wide range of textures and flavours. The unique bittersweet taste is something you won’t soon forget! Yak cheese is enjoyed in a wide variety of ways. it’s enjoyed on its own as a traditional Tibetan candy, used in offerings, mixed with roasted barley to form dough, added to hearty stews, and much more.
Our imported traditional yak cheeses are dried and packaged so they are shelf-stable.
