On Saturday, August 8, Garleek Kitchen is bringing the flavours of Tibet and the Himalayan region to one of Toronto’s favourite neighbourhood events: the Roncy Flea Market.
Known for celebrating local makers, artisans, and small businesses, the Roncy Flea Market is the perfect place to discover unique products, connect with the community, and enjoy great food.
Bringing Parkdale’s Himalayan Cuisine to Roncesvalles
As a family-owned restaurant in Parkdale, Garleek Kitchen is passionate about sharing the flavours and traditions of Tibetan and Himalayan cuisine with communities across Toronto.
Visitors to the market will have the opportunity to experience some of our most popular dishes and learn more about the ingredients and family recipes that inspire our menu.
From our homemade sepens (hot sauces), muli (fermented daikon radish), and tsampa (roasted barley flour), every item reflects generations of culinary traditions and a commitment to authentic flavours.
More Than Food: Sharing Culture and Community
Events like the Roncy Flea Market are about more than shopping—they are about bringing people together.
Toronto’s neighbourhood markets give independent businesses an opportunity to connect with customers, share stories, and celebrate the city’s incredible diversity.
At Garleek Kitchen, we believe food is one of the best ways to introduce people to different cultures, and we’re excited to bring a taste of the Himalayas to Roncesvalles.
Discover Handmade Hot Sauces and Traditional Flavours
If you’ve been curious about Tibetan cuisine, the Roncy Flea Market is a great place to start.
Stop by our booth to discover our handmade sepen hot sauces, learn about traditional ingredients like tsampa and fermented muli, and experience flavours inspired by Tibet and Nepal.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of momos or trying Himalayan food for the first time, we’d love to meet you.
See You on August 8
Join Garleek Kitchen at the Roncy Flea Market on Saturday, August 8, for a day of community, culture, and delicious food.
